Lowry Protein Assay Kit

Lowry Protein Assay Kit is a widely used for determining the total protein concentration in a sample. The assay is based on the Lowry method, which involves the reaction of proteins with copper ions in an alkaline medium followed by the reduction of the Folin-Ciocalteu reagent by the protein-copper complex. This produces a blue color whose intensity is proportional to the protein concentration and can be quantified spectrophotometrically.
