Protein Estimation Kit

The Protein Estimation Kit is a widely used, quick, and accurate method for quantifying total protein concentration in a sample. The assay is based on the Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 dye, which binds to proteins in acidic conditions, resulting in a color change from brownish-red to blue. This color change correlates with protein concentration and can be measured using a spectrophotometer or plate reader at an absorbance of 595 nm.
