Glucose Uptake Colorimetric Assay Kit

The Glucose Uptake Colorimetric Assay Kit is designed to quantitatively measure the rate of glucose uptake in cultured cells using a simple, sensitive, and rapid colorimetric detection method. The assay utilizes 2-Deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG) as a glucose analog, which is taken up by cells and metabolized to 2-Deoxy-D-glucose-6-phosphate (2-DG6P). The accumulated 2-DG6P is then oxidized to produce a detectable chromophore, which can be measured using a microplate reader.
