BCA Protein Assay Kit

The BCA Protein Assay Kit is a popular and widely used method for quantifying total protein concentration in biological samples. Based on the bicinchoninic acid (BCA) method, this assay combines the reduction of cupric ions (Cu²⁺) to cuprous ions (Cu⁺) by proteins in an alkaline medium (known as the Biuret reaction) with the subsequent colorimetric detection of Cu⁺ by BCA.
